Surf & Turf Properties is a husband and wife real estate team. Jenette Pavlak McGhee is a North and South Carolina Licensed Real Estate Professional. Brian McGhee is a North Carolina Licensed Real Estate Broker. The couple met and fell in love after a real estate conference they both attended. While both are competitive by nature, they decided to join forces both personally and professionally. The couple married in 2018 and are in a unique position to assist clients in both North and South Carolina.

Jenette Pavlak McGhee fled the cold winters and high taxes of NJ, where she grew up, to enjoy the relaxed pace and coastal lifestyle of Myrtle Beach, SC, where she now resides. With a BS from the University of Rhode Island and an MBA, Jenette began her career in customer service and later managed a dental laboratory. Family is important and Jenette is grateful for the support of her family that encouraged her to follow her passion for real estate, where she can use her business skills and expertise to assist her clients in making their dream homes a reality.

Brian McGhee was born In Roxbury, NC. He is a trained chef having attended the culinary arts program at Vincennes University in Indiana. He then continued his chef training by completing internships with Walt Disney World and French Lick Spring Resort. Brian returned home to NC and has had the privilege to work with some of the best chefs in the area at some of the finest restaurants. About 10 years ago Brian brought his culinary skills to Brunswick County and began working in private clubs that included: Cape Fear Country Club, Bald Head Island Club, Saint James Plantation, and Figure 8 Yacht Club. It was during this time he discovered his passion for real estate. Brian brings his creativity and energy from his experience in the kitchen to the negotiating table of real estate.

Together, when not working, they are members of the local British Car Club. As animal lovers, they support many animal charities such as the ASPCA and HSUS, along with other smaller local organizations. Their pets are a big part of their lives and they often visit Bark Park South, a local dog park, and go walking on the beach with their rescued Shepherd mix and Australian Cattle dog. They love to travel and have both lived in several other states, so they understand the stresses of relocating long distance. As much as they love to travel and visit other parts of the world, they also know there is no place like home, and that is the feeling of joy they wish for their clients.
