I was born and raised on Maryland’s Eastern Shore where I grew to love and appreciate everything about coastal living. Seeing the water almost every day contributes so much to my happiness. Another thing that makes me happy is architecture. It’s been a passion of mine since I was 11 years old. I pretty much look at the world through the lens of spaces and places. I’m also a preservationist at heart. “This Old House” has been one of my favorite TV shows for as long as I can remember.
Chapel Hill/Carrboro became my home for many years where I studied Art History at UNC Chapel HIll and learned the art of hospitality at some of the region’s finest establishments. I also worked for Keith Shaw of Shaw Design & Associates, one of the top architects for the luxury award-winning Governor’s Club Community. I returned to the Cape Fear Region in 2011 & married Brent, a Brunswick County native. We have two girls, Lyda & Anna and a furry family member named Cosmo. We love calling Leland home.
In my free time you can find me taking advantage of the surf and sand, walking Wilmington’s Riverwalk or bike riding with my girls. I enjoy gardening, cooking, reading, the arts and exploring our region’s natural beauty and history.
It is my pleasure to have the opportunity to help you find and make a home on North Carolina’s beautiful coast.
