Kris Summers, | Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage

I returned home to North Carolina in September 2020 to be closer to my family after living in Southern California for 37 years. I grew up on the Outer Banks and Greenville, NC before moving to California to attend the University of Southern California and majored in Business Finance. While living there I got married, raised three children in Orange County. My two sons currently live in Colorado and my daughter lives in New York City. After being gone for so many years, I thought it would be difficult to make the transition from Orange County to the Wilmington/Hampstead area, but everyone is so welcoming in this friendly, beachy community, it’s like I never left.

After raising my children and losing my husband in August 2014, I decided to pursue a new career in real estate while I was living in Orange County. I worked for Coldwell Banker in Irvine, CA until I decided in 2020 that it was time to come home. After getting settled in my new home in Hampstead, I decided it was time to get my real estate license here. In May 2022 I got my NC license and worked for a year and a half at a real estate agency in Wilmington before making my move to join the Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage team in Hampstead.

During my free time, I love to play tennis in Wilmington’s VERY active tennis community. I also enjoy many of our vast water and beach activities, like kayaking, boating, walking the beach and looking for seashells and shark’s teeth. While traveling I enjoy hiking and snow skiing. Anything that is active and outdoors keeps me happy.

My professional philosophy is simple, I work hard for my clients and bring value to their home buying and/or selling experience. I take every opportunity to learn my clients wants and needs and listen to what is important to them. I pay attention to the details and guide you through the process.
